Alberta Association of Community Peace Officers

(AACPO) represents over 125 Authorized Employer, who employ over 1700 Community Peace Officers (CPO) throughout Alberta and beyond. CPO's are employed under the Alberta Peace Officer Act and can provide enforcement of a variety of Federal, Provincial, and Municipal statutes within their communities.

Peace Officers

are First Responders who regularly provide assistance at motor vehicle collisions and other emergency situations within their communities, they help keep us safe and provide support to our Police, Fire and EMS crews.

The AACPO

was founded as the Alberta Special Constable Association in 1989. The Association was formed to represent the interest of rural Special Constables in face of growing pressures to restrict Special Constable use. Originally formed by 8 Special Constable agencies, the Association now represents more than 125 agencies employing over 1700 officers from Alberta, BC and the Northwest Territories.

A complete walkthrough of the Advanced Project Information System (APIS) including how to register for an account, update profile and reset password, issue notices and tickets, upload disclosure, query for trial matters, submit requests to cancel notice or withdraw ticket (applicable to designated superusers), and download reports. Speakers

Pauline Wong

Manager - Advanced Projects & Traffic Office

Pauline joined the Government of Alberta in 2008 as a Research and Evaluation Analyst with Court and Justice Services, Alberta Justice after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology. In that role, she worked on numerous projects and initiatives, and provided operational reporting for all levels of courts. In 2020, Pauline accepted a Business Analyst role with Alberta Transportation to support the creation of an administrative adjudication branch, SafeRoads Alberta and the Advanced Project Information System (APIS). In 2023, Pauline returned to Alberta Justice as APIS Manager for the Advanced Projects and Traffic Office, Alberta Crown Prosecution Service where she currently manages APIS and Traffic Tickets Digital Services (TTDS) and leads the APIS team on strategic business solutions to modernize traffic prosecutions.

Larissa Davis

Business Analyst

Larissa has been with the GoA for almost 12 years. She started as a Summer Student with Commercial Vehicle Enforcement out of the Leduc Vehicle Inspection Station. She kept this position while finishing her Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, then went on to work with AHS for a while and eventually found her way back to the GoA. Larissa was with Driver Fitness and Monitoring where she worked with the impaired driving program and driving records, then went on to become a medical review officer. After that, she moved to SafeRoads where she was a traffic adjudicator. Larissa is currently a Business Analyst for the Advanced Projects and Traffic Office, Alberta Crown Prosecution Service. She loves her job and the team she works with.
