RADAR / LIDAR Train the Trainer (TtT), Instructor Certification Course – Feb 12-16 2024

Post by Clarence_Nelson »

SUMMARY:
This RADAR / LIDAR Train the Trainer (TtT), Instructor Certification Course is designed for experienced law enforcement professionals with current training and certification in the operation of RADAR / LIDAR. This 5-day intensive course is based on the Understanding Police Traffic RADAR & LIDAR program ©1998 www.lawenforcementservices.biz, LLC, created by Master Instructor Les LANGFORD, and endorsed by Northwestern University Center for Public Safety. This international curriculum offers the most up-to-date detailed information and techniques for operators and instructors of modern RADAR / LIDAR speed measurement technology used across North America. This program has been the framework for outstanding traffic safety programs and successful court prosecutions in Alberta since 2005. Upon completion, participants will become trained and certified RADAR / LIDAR Instructors for a 3-year period.

As technology changes, so must instructors stay current. Instructor re-certification is available for ongoing, active instructors. Instructors seeking re-certification before expiry will be required to electronically submit a summary of their teaching and operational experience since becoming a RADAR/LIDAR Instructor. Evidence of continuous learning credits and instructional time will confirm instructors are current and up-to-date following their initial certification.

*NOTE: Although this course conforms to the Traffic Safety Act of Alberta, Canada; and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, USA, it does NOT apply to Automated Traffic Enforcement (ATE) standards and requirements in Alberta, Canada.
