Advocating for Community Peace Officers (CPOs): The Call for Presumed PTSD Coverage

Community Peace Officers face risks and psychological trauma in their roles. However, when seeking WCB support, their PTSD is not presumed to be work-related because they’re not considered first responders in legislation. This hinders their access to support.
We partnered with Alberta Association of Community Peace Officers & Alberta Municipalities on an infographic highlighting these barriers.
